
Join us for an elegant evening celebrating music, artistry, and cultural excellence at the Steinway Piano Gallery Beverly Hills, located at 8801 Wilshire Boulevard. Situated along one of Los Angeles’ most iconic and historically significant corridors, Wilshire Boulevard serves as a major cultural and commercial artery connecting Beverly Hills with the broader city. Today, the Steinway Piano Gallery stands as one of the premier Steinway-owned showrooms in Southern California, offering a refined and intimate setting that reflects both the craftsmanship of its instruments and the artistic heritage of its surroundings. Set within this distinguished environment, the evening marks the album release of acclaimed composer Lefteris Carvelas, whose work has been performed internationally, including with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Presented in partnership with Tractatus Productions and curated in collaboration with the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce’s F.A.M.E. Committee (Fashion, Art, Music, Entertainment), the evening reflects Beverly Hills’ role as a global hub for artistic expression and cultural innovation.
The program will feature a live performance of Carvelas’ debut piano album Living Promise, brought to life in an intimate and immersive setting. Joining the composer are two internationally celebrated musicians: pianist Alin Melik-Adamyan and cellist Cécilia Tsan.
Alin Melik-Adamyan
is a prize-winning collaborative artist, soloist, and chamber musician praised for her sensitivity and expressive depth. A recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including top prizes at the Los Angeles Liszt International Competition and the William Grant Still Young Artists Competition, she has performed with leading ensembles and artists across the country. Her work spans concert stages and film, including her role as the live pianist and hand double in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans. She continues to perform internationally as part of the Allakhverdyan Duo.
Cécilia Tsan
is described as possessing “uncompromising musical character and a towering technique,” is an internationally recognized cellist with a distinguished career spanning solo, chamber, and orchestral performance. A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, she is a prizewinner of multiple international competitions and has collaborated with world-renowned musicians and composers. In Los Angeles, she has contributed to many iconic film scores and currently serves as Principal Cellist with the Long Beach Symphony and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
Composer Lefteris Carvelas
brings a uniquely global perspective to his work, shaped by his upbringing between New York and Athens. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, his compositions span orchestral, cinematic, and contemporary styles, with releases through SONY-BMG, IMPACT MUSIC, and UNIVERSAL-EMI. His work extends across film, theatre, and visual media, and reflects a deep commitment to storytelling through sound. He is also co-founder of the Valor Projects Foundation, supporting emerging artists and creative communities.
The evening will begin with a networking cocktail reception, followed by the concert performance. Guests will then enjoy a post-performance reception with the opportunity to meet the composer and artists over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. More than a concert, this is an immersive experience designed to inspire reflection and presence through music. Living Promise invites audiences to slow down, listen deeply, and connect through a shared artistic journey.
